Job summary

Leverett Elementary School is seeking an Interim School Adjustment Counselor to support SEL programs for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is 0.5 FTE with a prorated salary and coordination with the school psychologist under the principal's direction.

The ideal candidate will have experience in SEL, data collection, and crisis de-escalation, and will collaborate with staff, families, and community resources.

Qualifications

• Experience in school-based social emotional learning (SEL) programs.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
• 0.5 FTE, interim position with prorated salary.

Responsibilities

• Support SEL implementation with the school psychologist guidance.
• Provide tiered SEL support to students.
• Assist with SEL data collection and interventions.
• Participate in Team meetings and provide crisis support.
