• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for students, staff and families.
• Ability to implement and monitor behavior plans with teachers and specialists.
• Strong de-escalation skills and crisis-response techniques.
• Ability to adapt and solve problems in a fast-paced school setting.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in behavioral support.

Responsibilities

• Provide small-group academic support and reinforce learning strategies.
• Teach and reinforce positive behaviors to promote self-regulation and social-emotional growth.
• Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families to support development.
• Collect and maintain behavioral data to track progress and guide interventions.
• Assist in de-escalating and managing student crises with appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement PBS plans and create structured environments.
• Work with a team to promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
• Perform additional duties to support student and school needs.
