Job summary

Lansing Community College is seeking a PT Support - Program Assistant for the Small Business Development Center to connect existing and new clients with SBDC resources through research, referrals, and related services.

The role includes assisting with information systems, outreach, administration, and marketing coordination, with potential consulting for start-ups. On-campus presence required five days a week; some flexible arrangements may be approved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience with small business or business ownership.
• Demonstrated Customer Service experience.
• Demonstrated database or reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Regional Director with information systems, outreach, administration, training coordination, and marketing to enable the SBDC to operate effectively.
• Provide consulting services to clients, focusing on start-ups, early-stage businesses and pre-venture activities.
