Job summary

Locs of Love is seeking a friendly, organized Guest Experience Coordinator to manage the front desk and help create an exceptional experience for every client who enters or contacts our salon. The role is more than a receptionist, serving as the hub between clients, stylists, management, and daily salon operations. Training will be provided for Phorest, Shopify, Square and related systems.

Starting Pay: $15.00/hour. Part-time schedule includes Every Other Monday 10:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, receptionist, hospitality, retail, or administrative experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn salon services, terminology, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet every client and team member in a friendly, professional manner.
• Manage client check-in and checkout experience.
• Answer phone calls, texts, emails, and client inquiries professionally.
• Assist clients with questions regarding services, appointments, pricing, policies, and promotions.
• Record important client conversations and updates in the client account.
• Process client transactions and assist with product sales at checkout.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk, lobby, and retail area.
