Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a part-time Sales Manager in Sanford, FL to lead our high-performing retail team and uphold brand standards. You will oversee front-end and service operations, drive sales KPIs, and coach staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities include MOD coverage, POS accuracy, and managing in-store programs such as Loyalty Rewards, BOPIS, Same Day Delivery, and event-driven initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and ensure SOP compliance.
• Coach team on Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and floor leadership.
• Oversee loyalty program enrollment to drive retention.
• Drive omni-channel service (BOPIS, Same Day Delivery) and in-store events.
• Oversee Knit & Sew Shop and Frame shop coordination as applicable.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Maintain asset protection and shrink-reduction practices.
