Job summary

Foot Locker is recruiting a part-time Sales Lead to support the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching the team, and maintaining daily store operations. You’ll bring energy, ownership, and an always-on attitude to deliver an exceptional customer experience on the floor.

You’ll lead by example, coach teammates, and help close the loop with customers while ensuring safety and standards. This role offers growth opportunities within a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience with leadership or key holder responsibilities.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with energy, confidence, and solutions in every customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and share product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping close the loop with customers.
• Help manage daily store operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Maintain store organization and readiness, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs to protect customers, teammates, and product.
• Take an owner/operator mindset, address issues, and maintain standards in store execution.
• Leverage retail tech and digital tools to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled and support hiring, onboarding, and training of associates.
• Coach teammates in real time, recognize wins, and help close performance gaps.
• Step in wherever needed to support store priorities.
