Job summary

The Container Store is seeking a part-time Sales Leader for the Sacramento area. You will lead the sales floor during assigned shifts, coach team members, and focus on delivering excellent customer service to drive sales and conversion.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail sales or related experience – some management a plus
• Commitment to role model and lead a successful sales environment
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Experience with selling and leading a sales floor
• This is a part-time, hourly position - Able to work 20-25 hours a week with flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set clear daily performance objectives, plan and execute daily huddle with the team, and lead the sales floor during assigned shifts.
• Drive sales results and conversion by analyzing the business during assigned shifts to determine proper KPIs focus; role model, coach, and provide feedback on selling behaviors.
• Meet or exceed expectations for individual selling behaviors and company KPIs on a personal level.
• Support the training, coaching, and development of the part-time team.
• Provide recognition to the team that reinforces positive behaviors and desired results.
• Utilize company programs and tools to support training and development of the part-time Team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and necessary for the Sales Leader role.
