Job summary

Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) is seeking a part-time instructor to teach college-level non-credit Workforce Development courses at Catonsville, Dundalk, or Essex campuses. Courses focus on OSHA 10/30, safety topics such as Lead Paint, Lock-out/Tag-out, and Confined Space, as well as EPA certifications and Green topics.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, subject-matter expertise, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be a subject matter expert.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Experience teaching or training in an adult setting preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments.

Responsibilities

• Teach part-time non-credit Workforce Development courses focusing on OSHA topics (10/30) and related safety areas.
• Offer EPA certifications, Green topics, and courses on directing and overseeing building operations and efficiency.
