Job summary

The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) invites applications for a part-time adjunct to teach college-level non-credit Community Education courses focusing on guest service and hotel front desk operations. Courses are offered across Catonsville, Dundalk and Essex campuses, providing practical hospitality training to adult learners in a collaborative, on-site setting.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, hands-on guest services and front desk experience, and comfort

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have guest services and hotel front desk experience.
• Computer proficiency preferred.
• Experience teaching or training in an adult setting preferred.
• One year of industry experience, either working in or teaching hospitality is required.
• Hospitality Industry credential and/or post-secondary hospitality degree or certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• This part-time position teaches college level non-credit Community Education courses that focus on guest service and hotel front desk.
• Campus locations: Catonsville, Dundalk & Essex, MD.
