Job summary

Hocking Valley Community Hospital seeks an experienced registered nurse to oversee nursing care on the unit under general supervision. You will plan, direct, and evaluate patient care in line with hospital philosophy and standards.

The ideal candidate will hold an accredited nursing degree with an Ohio RN license, CPR/ACLS/PALS, and strong computer skills. BSN preferred; 3-12 hour shifts with every other weekend; 7a-7p and 11a-11p rotations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.
• Active State of Ohio RN license.
• CPR, ACLS, PALS - American Heart Association.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and evaluates total nursing care and functions within the unit.
• Initiates and implements patient education and care plans.
• Assess, think critically, and respond rapidly to clinical changes.
• Administers medications and IV solutions per physicians' orders.
• Maintains accurate and complete recording and reporting.
