Florida Blue Group seeks a part-time RN for weekend case management. You’ll nurse with a focus on appropriate care levels and discharge planning, coordinating with facilities and providers.

The role includes benefits education and network navigation across hospital and post-acute settings. Responsibilities include collaboration with Medical Directors and case management teams, travel within Florida, and occasional in-office work under a hybrid model.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related work experience in hospital, LTAC, rehab or SNF settings.
• Unrestricted US Registered Nurse license; Florida licensure or compact state licensure.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for providers to navigate members through the continuum and educate on benefits.
• Evaluate members for benefit determination and appropriate level of care using InterQual or criteria.
• Participate in weekly case review and coordinate discharge planning.
• Collaborate with Medical Directors, managers and Case Management colleagues.
