Job summary

Grand Lake Health System in St. Marys, OH seeks a Part-time Registered Nurse for the Transitional Care Unit to provide direct patient care using the Nursing Process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel.
• Assumes a lead role in patient teaching. Places the patient at the center of care practices.
• Collaborates and interacts positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
• May be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity.
