Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a RN to join as a part-time team member for the Day Shift. This 32-hour/week position focuses on pre-surgical and radiology patient care, chart completion, education, and coordinated hand-offs.

The role requires an active RN license and strong collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining safety standards.

Formación

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Ability to perform essential nursing duties and patient education.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collects patient health data and nursing history.
• Documents nursing history via phone interviews and initiates records.
• Ensures referrals and hand-offs between services are completed.
• Explains procedures to patients and provides education on interventions.
• Collaborates with patients and healthcare providers to deliver care.
• Adheres to CARE values and safety standards in the department.
