Job summary

Unify Community Health in Spokane, WA is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (20 hours/week) at Northeast Community Center. You’ll assess patients, support providers, and help coordinate care during visits.

The role requires WA RN license, and dual WA/OR licensure within 120 days. Bilingual Spanish proficiency is preferred, with differential pay for bilingual skills and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of outpatient or clinical RN experience preferred.
• Active WA RN license.
• Dual WA/OR licensure within 120 days.
• BCLS within 90 days.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred (ALTA score 10).

Responsibilities

• Provides care during patient visits and records vital signs and health history.
• Performs phone triage to determine next steps and follow up care.
• Documents health history, assessments, actions and medications in the EMR.
• Assists providers in diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Performs IV starts when ordered and informs patient about the procedure.
• Educates patient on medications, usage and potential side effects.
• Coordinates referrals and follow-up care as directed by the provider.
• Collaborates with the care team to implement the plan of care and follow-up.
