Job summary

Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic in Salem, OR, seeks a Registered Nurse for Lancaster Family Health Center at Beverly. The role involves direct patient care, triage, and care coordination, with EPIC EMR and opportunities for bilingual compensation.

The ideal candidate has an OR license, 1 year outpatient RN experience preferred, and is eligible for dual WA/OR licensure within 120 days. 40 hours/week, $42.07–$51.54/hr DOE, plus relocation/bilingual bonuses.

Qualifications

• Active OR RN license
• Dual WA/OR licensure required within 120 days
• NLC requirements and on onboarding proof of residence and training
• BCLS within 90 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred at level 10

Responsibilities

• Provides care during patient visits; obtain vital signs and complete health history
• Performs phone triage to assess chief complaint and follow-up steps
• Documents health history, assessments, actions, and medications in EPIC EMR
• Assists providers in diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Performs IV starts as ordered and explains procedures, risks and steps
• Maintains patient flow and coordinates interagency referrals as directed
• Educates patients about medications, side effects and obtains consent
• Collaborates with the care team to implement and adjust patient care plans
