Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to care for client employees at our Health Center in Hebron, KY. The role features a 12-hour Wednesday shift (6a-6p) with additional PTO coverage as needed and a guaranteed weekly schedule.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in the state, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), and BLS certification; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope. We offer competitive pay and benefits for PRN/part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or AS is required; BSN from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned
