Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA is seeking a Part-Time Nursing Supervisor (RN) to oversee inpatient nursing units, manage staffing, and coordinate emergency responses. This role serves as a clinical resource for staff and physicians and ensures off-hour operations run smoothly.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with at least three years of acute care experience and has strong communication and organizational skills. CPR is required; ACLS/PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be currently licensed or eligible to be licensed in Virginia as an RN.
• Registered nurse with at least three years of acute care experience required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, ability to work under stress, strong communication skills and organizational skills a must.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations of inpatient nursing units related to staffing needs.
• Facilitate communication between nursing units/departments.
• Respond to emergency situations throughout the facility and coordinate interventions.
• Serve as a clinical resource person to staff and physicians.
• Responsible for operations of all departments during off hour operations (nights and weekends).
• Serve as Administrative resource for off hour staff.
