Job summary

College of Southern Nevada in North Las Vegas is seeking a Part-Time RN Lab Tutor to support students in nursing labs and simulation environments. You will assist with equipment handling, safety practices, and skill rehearsal under supervision and guidance from faculty.

This role focuses on facilitating hands-on practice rather than formal teaching, helping students build confidence while maintaining safety standards across lab spaces.

Qualifications

• Current Nevada RN license is required.
• BSN degree is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to travel between CSN campuses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist students during class or open laboratory sessions with operation of nursing equipment.
• Answer questions regarding use and function of lab equipment.
• Support student practice of clinical skills previously taught in lectures and labs.
• Follow instructor-provided checklists to guide student practice and ensure safety.
