Job summary

College of Southern Nevada is seeking a part-time RN Lab Tutor to support nursing labs and simulation sessions. The role reports to the Simulation Lab Manager and/or Program Director and focuses on guiding students in using lab equipment and practicing skills taught in class.

Non-instructional role: no grading or formal teaching. Requires active RN license (Nevada), BSN, and a Master's in Nursing. Salary is $28.45 per hour with flexible days/evenings and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Nevada RN license.
• BSN.
• Masters degree in Nursing.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to travel between CSN campuses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist students during class or open laboratory sessions with operation of nursing skills equipment and supplies.
• Maintain clean, organized laboratory spaces and ensure equipment is functional.
• Promote safety and compliance with OSHA guidelines in laboratory environments.
• Demonstrate professional communication with students, faculty, and staff and collaborate with nursing faculty to support student success.
