Job summary

The College of Southern Nevada invites applications for Part-Time RN Lab Tutor positions in the Nursing Department. These roles support student learning and skills practice within nursing laboratories and simulation environments under the supervision of the Simulation Lab Manager and/or Program Director.

The RN Lab Tutor helps students with equipment, guides practice of previously taught skills, and maintains safe, organized lab spaces.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada RN license (unrestricted) required.
• BSN and Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to travel between CSN campuses.
• Experience with nursing students and lab skills is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students during class laboratory or open laboratory sessions with the operation and use of nursing skills equipment.
• Support student practice of clinical skills using instructor-provided skills checklists.
• Ensure laboratory spaces are clean, organized, and properly maintained for student use.
• Promote safe handling and professional communication with students and staff.
