UC Health is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for the 4th floor Med Surg on the Day Shift at West Chester Hospital in Ohio. The Med Surg unit is a 36-bed area with patient-to-nurse ratios ranging from 4 to 6, focusing on surgical and trauma patients with high-quality care delivery.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate’s Degree is the minimum; BSN preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license.
• BLS certification current before end of orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares, implements, evaluates, revises and coordinates interdisciplinary plan of care for each assigned patient.
• Communicates plan of care to the care team and prioritizes care based on patient needs.
• Gives clear treatment instructions to patients and involves family in care.
• Addresses diverse needs related to behavioral health, culture or beliefs.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, accountability and collaboration on the unit.
• Documents nursing care accurately per hospital policy and procedures.
• Acts as a resource and mentor for new staff and float personnel.
• Pursues ongoing professional development.

Educación

Associate’s Degree in Nursing

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)
