Job summary

UC Health is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department (ED) for the day shift at West Chester Hospital in West Chester, OH. The RN will provide high-quality emergent care in a Level III Trauma Center, collaborating with the ER team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

Graduation from an accredited nursing program, an OH RN license, and 2 years ED/ICU experience preferred; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Associate’s Degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current OH RN license required; 2 years ED/ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, and coordinate the plan of care for assigned patients with the healthcare team.
• Communicate plans of care clearly to staff and families and establish care priorities.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and ongoing care.
• Address behavioral health, cultural, or religious needs in patient care as applicable.
• Document nursing processes accurately and timely per policy.
• Serve as a mentor for new personnel and contribute to team development.

Current Ohio RN License
