Community Mainstreaming Associates is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for a part-time, weekday role in Port Washington, NY. You will oversee medical and nursing services across multiple residential sites, with on-site visits and on-call duties to ensure safe, high-quality care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

The position requires NY RN licensure, an Associate's degree in Nursing, and a valid NY driver’s license, plus independent work ability and strong clinical

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license in good standing.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Valid New York State Driver's License.
• Ability to work independently and across multiple locations.
• Excellent clinical judgment and problem solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Smartphone required.
• Must have completed the orientation period of 3–6 months in the current position.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and oversee medical, dental, nursing, and clinic services for individuals receiving services.
• Monitor residents for signs of acute illness or chronic condition exacerbations.
• Conduct weekly on-site nursing visits and complete health assessments.
• Review medical records and documentation.
• Provide nursing recommendations and coordinate referrals for medical treatment.
• Participate in clinical and staff meetings with nursing input.
• Supervise nursing tasks and ensure safety in patient care.
• Ensure medications are administered safely per physician orders.
