Job summary

Superior Hospice in Blaine, MN is seeking a Hospice Visit Nurse (RN) for a flexible part-time schedule with growth potential into a full-time role. Compensation is $40-$52 per hour with full benefits when transitioning to full-time, plus a schedule that can start part-time and expand as patient volume grows.

You will travel to patients' homes and care settings, perform comprehensive nursing assessments, provide pain and symptom management, wound care, and education for patients and families,

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license is required.
• Hospice experience preferred, or background in home health, oncology, ICU, palliative care, med-surg, or other end-of-life care.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patients' homes, assisted living communities, memory care, and skilled nursing facilities to provide routine hospice visits.
• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and provide pain and symptom management.
• Deliver wound care, medication management, and comfort-focused nursing interventions.
• Educate and support patients, caregivers, and families throughout the hospice journey.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, chaplains, hospice aides, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate, timely EMR documentation while maintaining Medicare hospice compliance.
