Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) at our Park River, ND facility to provide individualized nursing care across all phases of care. The RN will use the nursing process, collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams, and coordinate care and education for residents.

The role may include charge nurse duties and staff delegation in line with licensure and competence.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA preferred).
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the practicing state and valid multistate licensure if applicable.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents and families, and with inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel consistent with their competence.
