Job summary

UF Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (0.6 FTE) to provide comprehensive nursing care. The RN will use the nursing process and adhere to professional standards, stepping in as charge nurse when assigned and ensuring accountability for each patient across ages.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, Florida RN licensure or eligibility, and BLS certification on day one; BSN is preferred with ongoing certification requirements such as ACLS

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license or eligibility
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required on first day of employment
• Ability to learn and apply nursing technologies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process and standards of practice
• Perform staff nurse activities and act as charge nurse when assigned
• Maintain accountability for assigned patients across age groups and care settings
