UF Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts as a full-time staff nurse. The RN provides direct care using the nursing process and participates as a charge nurse when assigned.

You will maintain accountability for the care of assigned patients and delegate tasks to support staff while ensuring patient care aligns with age and developmental needs. Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree, Florida nursing licensure or eligibility, and BLS; ACLS/PALS requirements

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• New hires must obtain a BSN within three years of hire/transfer.
• BSN preferred.
• Florida license or eligibility to practice nursing.
• BLS from AHA/ARC required on first day; ACLS/PALS per unit requirements.
• Experience: less than one year required; 1 year preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct nursing care using the nursing process and established standards.
• Performs all responsibilities of staff nurse.
• Charge Nurse when assigned.
• Maintains accountability for assigned patients.
• Delegates tasks to Technical Nurses, Patient Care Associates, and Sitters while retaining responsibility.
• Care for patients according to age and developmental needs.
