St. Mary Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the MG3 unit. This part-time position supports tele-monitored, isolation, suicidal and behavioral patients in a 26-bed unit with private rooms.

The RN will provide direct and indirect nursing care, monitor patient conditions, document care, and collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure quality outcomes. A BSN, PA RN license and BLS are required.

Formación

• BSN required from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN License.
• AHA BLS.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses learning needs, readiness to learn and barriers to learning, integrating education into daily activity.
• Documents admission assessments, plan, interventions and medication use per policy; monitors effects.
• Uses information systems to communicate and document patient condition changes; prioritizes assignments.
• Communicates transfer of patient responsibility during bedside handoffs and rounds.
• Recognizes special patient needs and integrates care; and refers for abuse when needed.
• Includes pain management and supportive care in the plan of care.
• Adheres to infection control standards and maintains a safe, clean environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
