Innovetive Petcare is seeking a Part-Time Revenue Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team in Austin, TX. This hybrid role supports daily revenue accounting, accounts receivable, cash application, payment processing, and reconciliations across our network of veterinary practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting or revenue accounting experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Excellent organization, follow-through and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a high-volume, multi-location environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Support daily revenue accounting, accounts receivable, cash application, payment processing, banking and reconciliation.
• Post and apply payments (cash, check, credit card) accurately and timely.
• Reconcile banking and cash activity; research unreconciled deposits.
• Investigate payment discrepancies, deposit variances and other issues.
• Maintain shared accounting inbox and route requests promptly.
• Prepare documentation to support Staff Accountant; assist with data gathering.
• Review credit card chargebacks and follow up as needed.
• Prepare deposits and related journal entries.
• Assist with financial schedules, reconciliations and reports.
• Provide backup for other accounting processes; adhere to controls.
• Follow established policies and internal controls; maintain confidentiality.
