Dollar Tree in Rahway, NJ is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. This part-time role supports the Store Manager in daily tasks and leads by example to maintain store standards.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, merchandising, scheduling, cash handling, loss prevention, and coaching Store Associates to deliver friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, interpret, and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize, transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Provide coaching and development to Store Associates.
