Job Description

You don’t need a background in education, but a desire to learn is essential! As a store manager, you will develop a first-class team, implement plans to maximize sales, and provide an unforgettable retail experience in a fast-paced environment. Success is rewarded.

Providing great customer service is core to our identity.

Leadership by example is key for store managers.
This leadership fosters a successful retail team. No task is too small, and team successes are celebrated.

Responsibilities

Building Talent

  • Support recruitment and development of the sales team
  • Support training and onboarding of new sales associates
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members
  • Enhance workplace engagement and motivation

Building Service Standards

  • Exceed customer service expectations and train staff accordingly
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback on products for school and home use
  • Build lasting relationships with customers
  • Train staff on new products and promotions
  • Maintain store presentation, policies, cleanliness, and safety standards

Building Revenue and Operational Excellence

  • Assist with inventory management and stock control
  • Support cash handling and reconciliation
  • Support opening/closing procedures as a keyholder
  • Assist with employee scheduling and payroll
  • Support sales initiatives, promotions, and outreach programs
