Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in White Lake MI is seeking a Retail Store Processor to sort, tag, price, and prepare donated goods and help maintain store stock. You will participate in meeting daily production goals and provide friendly service to donors.

Paid training and ongoing coaching support are provided by store leadership, with a focus on developing retail and customer service skills in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day.
• High school diploma or currently pursuing.

Responsibilities

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise.

Location: White Lake MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 29 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You'll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise

• Move processed merchandise to sales floor


• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors


• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
