Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Rochester, MI is seeking a part-time Retail Store Processor to process donated goods, tag and price items, and stock the sales floor while helping meet daily production goals.

You will provide friendly service to donors, move merchandise to the floor, and assist with receiving and organizing shipments. Paid training and coaching are provided, with opportunities to grow retail skills in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Ability to process donated merchandise.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk for most of the shift.

Retail Store Processor

Location: Rochester MI

Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule: 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help track and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
