Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Ann Arbor is hiring a part-time Retail Store Processor to sort, price, and process donated goods. You will help track production and move items to the sales floor, while delivering friendly service to donors.

The role includes unloading and organizing donations and maintaining clean work spaces as part of a team hitting daily goals. Paid training is provided, with ongoing coaching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or current student status required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality essential.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Location: Ann Arbor MI Pay: $13.73 - $15.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in your community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise

• Help track and report production numbers

• Move processed merchandise to sales floor

• Provide friendly, helpful service to donors

• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments

• Maintain clean work and storage spaces

• Work together with team members to meet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock

• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day

• High school diploma or currently pursuing

• Previous retail or thrift store experience
