Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Washington Township, Michigan is seeking a Retail Store Processor. This part-time role involves processing donated goods, keeping the store organized, and helping meet production goals, with a 24-hour weekly schedule and evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

You will sort, tag, price merchandise, move items to the sales floor, receive trucks, and maintain clean spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently pursuing.
• Ability to process donated merchandise.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Location: Washington Twp MI Pay: $14.73 - $17.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods , keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help t rack and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to m eet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
• May make bank runs, price items, or cross train in another department
