Job summary

The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Washington Township, Michigan is seeking a Retail Store Processor for a part-time role. You will process donated goods, keep the store organized, and help meet daily production goals while working 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and holidays as scheduled.

You will sort, tag, and price merchandise, track production, replenish the sales floor, and assist with unloading trucks.

Location: Washington Twp MI Pay: $14.73 - $17.73 per hour Job Type: Part-time Schedule: 24 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

About the Role

At The Salvation Army Thrift Store, your work helps turn donations into funding for programs that support people in our community. We are looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Store Processor to process and prepare donated goods , keep the store organized, and help meet production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Sort, tag, and price merchandise
• Help t rack and report production numbers
• Move processed merchandise to sales floor
• Receive trucks and assists to load, unload and move product to the correct departments
• Maintain clean work and storage spaces
• Work together with team members to m eet daily production goals for merchandise processing and store stock
• May make bank runs, price items, or cross train in another department

• Ability to bend, reach, and lift or move merchandise throughout the day
• High school diploma or currently pursuing
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of The Salvation Army

Preferred

• Previous retail or thrift store experience
