Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation is required by law.
• Criminal histories considered in a fair process.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store team members, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy concerns, and report observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, directional guidance, and documentation of incidents and patrols.
