Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer in Brooklyn, NY to protect residents, staff and visitors. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professional communication and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
Drug screen required where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply; driver’s license for driving roles.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers.
Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the shelter location and report conditions.
Respond calmly to incidents and notify appropriate contacts or emergency services.
Monitor access points and maintain an orderly environment.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports.
