Job summary

ScanScape is looking for part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local retailers in Springfield, IL to scan barcodes and collect data on a weekly basis.

You will use a mobile app to scan products, report quantities for select items, and support data-driven sales improvements for clients. Roles involve standing, walking long shifts, and meeting weekly deadlines with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure standing for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet high, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes on displays and in aisles using a mobile app in assigned stores.
• Visit selected stores weekly for 52 weeks per year, including holidays.
• Provide product quantity data for about 45% of scanned items.
• Complete in-store data collection and display scanning tasks.
