Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. You will use a downloadable app on your mobile phone to scan barcodes in various store locations, with long shifts when needed and flexible hours.

The role offers independence, travel within local stores, and the opportunity to work with major retailers while maintaining a consistent weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Must be deadline-driven and self-starting.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in assigned stores using a mobile app.
• Collect data from displays and aisles for 45% of products scanned.
• Complete in-store data collections year-round, including holidays.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain data quality.
• Work flexible hours and travel to client locations as required.
• Perform in-store scans across grocery, convenience, drug, and mass retailers.
