Job summary

ScanScape is hiring a Retail Scan Associate in State College, PA. The role is part-time with 4–10 hours weekly across stores, plus extra hours for special projects. You will scan barcodes and collect data to help retailers improve sales performance.

Responsibilities include visiting stores, using a mobile app, and meeting weekly deadlines. Requires a driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to stand long hours; 401(k) eligibility and referral bonuses are noted as benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with basic auto insurance.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach up to 6 feet.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements and work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven with reliable Wi‑Fi and tech literacy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and aisle locations.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes and record product quantities.
• Complete in-store data collections year-round for multiple retailers.
• Work flexible hours across store routes and fulfill deadlines for client reporting.
