ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves visiting multiple store types weekly to scan barcodes and collect data that informs sales performance. Expect 6–10 hours per week with additional project work during peak periods.

A mobile app is used for scanning, and there is travel between stores. Competitive hourly pay of $16 with flexible hours, paid travel at the hourly rate, and eligibility for 401(k) with employer matching are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must have reliable Wi‑Fi and be comfortable using mobile apps for scanning.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan product barcodes across store locations.
• Provide quantity data for a portion of products and ensure accuracy.
• Meet weekly deadlines and complete in-store data collection for 52 weeks a year.
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs.
