Job summary

ScanScape is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate in Levittown, PA who will visit local stores to scan barcodes and collect data to improve product performance. The role offers flexibility in hours and potential extra hours for special projects, with travel paid at the hourly rate.

Your weekly schedule includes 9–19 hours on average across all stores, with additional hours during busier months; a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a dead-line-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store.
• The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of products scanned.
• Complete Display Scanning on the entire store weekly, which can take several hours to finish.
• Custom Projects can add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work for each store during some weeks.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and demonstrate dependability and quality-driven action.
