Job summary

BuddiesHR is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local grocery, convenience, and drug stores, performing in-store data collections. You will use a mobile app to scan barcodes on displays, aisles, and end caps, with base hours averaging 6–14 per week across stores, plus occasional extra hours for special projects.

The role offers workplace independence, some flexibility, and consistent weekly tasks.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet high.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands and arms.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven and reliable; must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year to collect in-store data.
• Scan barcodes across store displays and aisles using a mobile app.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete weekly Display Scanning and participate in Custom Projects as needed.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver quality data to clients.
