Job summary

BuddiesHR is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores and scan barcodes weekly, across grocery and other retailer formats. You'll use a mobile app, clock 5–9 base hours per week with potential extra hours for special projects, and earn $16/hr with travel pay for eligible weeks.

Expect independence in a flexible role with potential 401(k) enrollment and referral incentives as you contribute to client reporting and retail data insights.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must have tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in various locations throughout each store.
• Average base hours for this position are 5–9 hours per week across all stores, with additional hours for special projects.
• Complete Display Scanning across the entire store weekly, which can take several hours.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and deliver data to clients with dependability and quality.
