BuddiesHR is seeking a Retail Scan Associate for part-time, in-store data collection across assigned local retailers. You will scan barcodes with a mobile app, report quantities for a portion of items, and handle occasional Custom Projects that extend weekly workload.

This role emphasizes reliability, independence, and meeting deadlines. The position offers flexible hours with consistent weekly duties across grocery, convenience, and mass retailers, plus eligibility for benefits like a 401(k)

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes throughout stores.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Assist with Custom Projects when requested, adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per week per store.
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain data quality for clients.
