Job summary

BuddiesHR is seeking a part-time Retail Scan Associate to visit local stores in Fitchburg and surrounding areas to scan barcodes on displays and aisles. The role offers 6–15 hours weekly, with occasional extra hours for special projects and paid travel at your hourly rate.

You will work with grocery and other retailers using a mobile app to capture product data. A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savy.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in stores and aisles to collect product data.
• Use a mobile app to capture data from assigned locations.
• Complete display scanning weekly across stores.
• Assist with Custom Projects adding 1–2 hours when requested.
• Meet weekly deadlines with dependable, quality data delivery.
