Job summary

BuddiesHR is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local retailers weekly and scan barcodes on displays and aisles. You will use a mobile app, collect data, and help improve product and retailer performance across stores such as grocery, drug, convenience, and mass retailers.

Roles require reliable transportation, ability to stand for long periods, and attention to detail. The position offers flexible hours and travel compensation at the hourly rate, with eligible 401(k) and referral

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi–Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Collect data to analyze sales performance for brands and retailers.
• Provide timely data for client reports and project work.
• Maintain schedule and meet weekly deadlines.
• Support multiple store types including grocery, drug, convenience, pet, and mass merchandisers.
