BuddiesHR is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local retailers weekly, scanning barcodes to collect data for 52 weeks a year. This role offers flexible hours across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores.

Applicants must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and access to Wi-Fi. The position includes physical activity and requires dependability and accuracy in data collection.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, scanning barcodes in multiple store locations.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan product barcodes.
• Provide quantities for about 45% of scanned products as required.
