BuddiesHR is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit a designated selection of local stores each week, scanning barcodes on displays and in aisles to collect data that helps improve product performance.

This on-site role in Peabody, MA offers flexible hours averaging 4–10 per week with additional projects; candidates must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, and be comfortable with standing and light lifting.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to endure standing for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet in the air.
• Able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter with reliable Wi‑Fi access.
• Tech savvy with smartphone app usage for scanning.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit a selection of local stores each week to scan barcodes on displays and aisles.
• Collect data to improve product performance for retailers.
• Use a mobile app to scan and record barcode information.
• Handle multiple store visits, including routine and special projects.
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain dependable, quality-driven work.
